About us:
We hear you – Trust No Woman But Grandma is a brand built for the ones who left home to build a new one.
Some of us are immigrants. All of us come from them.
People who started from zero, thrust into new countries, new systems, new rules. No manual or connections. Just grit, instinct, and dreams that never said out loud. In the process, some things were lost: language, softness, that sense of being fully understood.
But we didn’t lose resilience, legacy, or edge in the process.
Trust No Woman But Grandma is about the power within nostalgia. It’s here to remind us that we didn’t just appear here out of nowhere, but that we come from people who survived everything — and still showed up for dinner. This brand is for those who feel in-between, but know they’re meant for more; for those who had to figure it out on their own; for those whose ancestors didn’t get to dream, but made sure you could.
This brand is for immigrants and children of immigrants who want to connect to their roots, embrace their cultures, and wear them proudly.
We’re here to remind you of that.
With every piece of fabric, we carry a message. Some are blunt, some are soft, all are a lesson.
When the world tries to make you forget who you are, we remind you that you’re not starting from scratch, but you’re from a legacy.
You have more than they did. Now do something with it.
